Antichambre rose nanane

Created about 1 year ago
Antichambre rose nanane (Antechamber) immerses viewers in a space that balances playful innocence with a sense of transition. This piece uses the concept of antechamber as a fleeting state, where soft, inviting pinks and candy-like tones subtly mask a deeper tension—a moment of anticipation before something more lasting. The contrast between whimsy and this transient state invites viewers to linger on the edge of a playful yet unresolved passage. Rooted in Sébastien Pitt’s Segments series, this artwork conjures dreamscapes that weave between perception and affect. Generated with a custom MAX8 patch for 3D audiovisual performance, each scene features 3D structures, vertex displacement, and transparency shaders, creating dynamic textures and layered depths with a 360° rotation at 0.01 Hz. Rendered at 4K horizontal @60fps in a 100-second loop with ProRes 4444 and CPU-compressed H.264 via FFmpeg.
