Palissade des songes (Dreams’ Palisade) immerses the viewer in a shifting space where shades of purple fade into delicate white, evoking the fluid boundaries between consciousness and the subconscious. The layers of light and shadow, blurred by a sense of motion, suggest the complexity of self-awareness and the elusive nature of our dreams. This piece explores the thresholds between waking and dreaming, offering a metaphor for the internal barriers we build as we navigate the ever-changing landscape of our thoughts and emotions. It’s a visual exploration of the boundaries that define who we are and who we might become. Created as part of the Segments approach, each loop immerses the viewer in the liminal space between reality and abstraction. Rendered from a custom performative system, each 100s 4K H.264 loop blends 3D structures, displacements, and transparency, creating layered depths and a sense of hovering motion.
